Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a crucial security measure for protecting your SpiderCard account. With 2FA enabled, you’ll need to enter a dynamic verification code from an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator) in addition to your password to log in or perform sensitive operations, significantly enhancing your account security. We strongly recommend all users enable 2FA.
Navigate to 2FA Settings
- 🔧 Open the SpiderCard app and tap the settings icon at the top right.
- 🔒 Navigate to the settings page and select the “Reset 2FA” option.
- 📋 On the QR code page, tap “Copy 2FA” to copy the verification key.
- 📱 Open Google Authenticator or any authentication app, and tap “Add a code”.
- 📝 Enter Account Name (e.g., SpiderCard).
- 📝 Paste the copied key into the “Your key” field.
- 🔢 Generate Verification Code: Google Authenticator will generate a 6-digit verification code (e.g., 100 075).
- 📝 Return to the Spider app and use “Paste” to enter the 6-digit code.
- 🟢 Enable 2FA: Tap the “Activate 2FA” button. A green “2FA set successfully” indicator will appear at the bottom of the interface.
- 📧 Confirmation Email: You will receive a confirmation email from SpiderCard confirming that 2FA has been successfully enabled on your account.
